We are passionate about developing art projects that integrate ecosystems, urban communities, and the aesthetic and teleological exploration of our environment. Espacio 42B emerged organically—after a film screening, a spirited exchange, and a passing idea for a script centered on the overlooked figures of El Salvador’s nocturnal landscape. That conversation revealed a deeper impulse: to create a space for experimental exhibitions that weave together the visual, sonic, and spatial.
Since our inaugural exhibition in 2025, we have hosted over eight solo and group shows, each one reflecting a commitment to process-based practices and artistic risk.
Our mission is collective, yet grounded in the unique perspectives of creative professionals working across Art studies, photography, design theory, cultural and curatorial research.

Lucy Tomasino vive y trabaja en San Salvador, donde obtuvo su licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación y Multimedia por la Universidad Don Bosco en 2017. Lucy Tomasino lives and works in San Salvador, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia Sciences from Don Bosco University in 2017. Her artistic practice encompasses experimental photography, public space interventions, performance, and installation, with medium- and large-format projects in the city of San Salvador.
Since 2013, she has participated in various group and solo exhibitions, including: Proyecto Se Alquila in Ecuador (Multidisciplinary Contemporary Art Festival, 2015), Entretejidos at Y.ES Contemporary, PS122 Gallery, New York (2022), SWAB Barcelona (2022), and the Central American film series at the Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid. Her work is part of the semi-permanent collection of the Museo de Arte de El Salvador, in the Trópico Telúrico exhibition. Artista multidisciplinar. Vive y trabaja en El Salvador, Centroamérica. Actualmente es artista y co-gestor en The Fire Theory, es co-curador en el programa de exhibiciones del lobby del Teatro Luis Poma en San Salvador y museógrafo y montajista en Espacio 42B en Santa Tecla.
Licenciado en Artes Plásticas Opción Cerámica por la Universidad de El Salvador. Su trabajo como artista combina diversas técnicas disciplinares, en las que explora la historia y memoria del contexto donde habita, ya sea personal o colectivo. Igualmente en su trabajo curatorial trabaja el desarrollo de nuevos archivos que buscan dar continuidad a la memoria del pasado, para que esta siga su camino de reflexión en el presente y el futuro. ha participado en exposiciones colectivas e individuales como NTERGALACTIX against isolation (cur. Daniela Lieja Quintanar, LACE, Los Ángeles, 2021); ICE (cur. Omar López-Chahoud, Open Source Gallery, Brooklyn, 2017); la X Bienal Centroamericana (cur. Multidisciplinary artist. Lives and works in El Salvador, Central America. He is currently an artist and member of The Fire Theory, a co-curator of the exhibition program in the lobby of the Luis Poma Theater in San Salvador, and a museographer and art handler at Espacio 42B in Santa Tecla.
He holds a degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Ceramics, from the University of El Salvador. His work as an artist combines diverse disciplinary techniques, exploring the history and memory of the context in which he lives, whether personal or collective. Likewise, in his curatorial work, he focuses on developing new archives that aim to provide continuity to the memory of the past, ensuring it continues its path of reflection in the present and the future.

Artista multidisciplinario que transita entre la música, la fotografía y la producción audiovisual. Graduado en Multimedia por la Universidad Don Bosco, ha participado en festivales de música filarmónica a nivel regional y compartido su conocimiento como maestro de música en diversas comunidades entre Guatemala y El Salvador. Durante los últimos años ha desarrollado cortometrajes y proyectos audiovisuales que exploran distintos lenguajes expresivos. Actualmente colabora con Espacio 42B en gestión cultural y dirige su propia compañía audiovisual.

Multidisciplinary artist who moves between music, photography, and audiovisual production. A graduate in Multimedia from Don Bosco University, he has participated in regional philharmonic music festivals and shared his knowledge as a music teacher in various communities between Guatemala and El Salvador. In recent years, he has developed short films and audiovisual projects that explore different expressive languages. He currently collaborates with Espacio 42B in arts management and runs his own audiovisual company.
Óscar Moisés Díaz
Óscar Moisés Díaz (n. 1993, El Salvador) es un ocultista musulmán, poeta, curador de cine y arte, artista, editor literario y traductor. Ha expuesto en lugares como la X Bienal Centroamericana, el Instituto de Arte de Santa Fe, el Festival Internacional de Cine de San Salvador y varios museos, como el Museo de Queens y el Museo de Arte de El Salvador. También ha presentado una exposición individual en el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Costa Rica. Forma parte de la Colección de Arte Luciano Benetton de Imago Mundi y aparece en el libro “Tu nombre es un laberinto: Artistas Contemporáneos de El Salvador”. Su obra ha sido objeto de comentarios por importantes historiadores del arte contemporáneo centroamericano, como Dr. Kency Cornejo y la Dra. Luisa Fuentes Guaza. Forma parte de Tierra Narrative y es un cofundador y miembro de la junta directiva de Espacio 42-B. Su práctica astrológica también se nutre de más de una década de contacto con los Estudios Críticos de Raza y Étnica, el feminismo, los estudios queer y trans, los estudios poscoloniales, la filosofía, los estudios cinematográficos, la historia del arte y la poesía, creando una práctica astrológica lleno de rigor y tradición, pero también de una radicalidad artística y política.

Óscar Moisés Díaz (b. 1993, El Salvador) is a muslim occultist, poet, film and art curator, artist, literary editor, and translator. They’ve exhibited in places such as the 10th Central American Biennial, the Santa Fe Art Institute, the International Film Festival in San Salvador, and several museums, including the Queens Museum and The Museum of Art, El Salvador. They’ve also had a solo at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Costa Rica. They are part of the Imago Mundi Luciano Benetton Art Collection and featured in the related book, “Tu nombre es un laberinto: Contemporary Artists from El Salvador.” Their artwork has been written about by major historians of Contemporary Central American art, such as Dr. Kency Cornejo and Dr. Luisa Fuentes Guaza. They are part of the Tierra Narrative Collective and a co-founder and inaugural board member of the artist-run art space Espacio 42-B. They were the inaugural Poetry in Translation Editor for Fence alongside Maryam Ivette Parhizkar, as well as the 2020–2021 Inaugural Curatorial Fellow at the Poetry Project as a member of Tierra Narrative. Recently, they completed a writing residency at the Atlantic Center for the Arts under the mentorship of Eileen Myles. They won the Art Trip Fellowship from The Y.ES Art Foundation in 2016 and their Art Grant in 2017. They are a graduate of the Hellenistic Astrology course offered by Chris Brennan, and their current teacher is Dr. Ali A. Olomi, who has ushered them into the medieval Islamic/ate traditions of not just astrology, but also geomancy, dream divination, and Islamic theurgy. Their astrological practice is also informed by more than a decade of engagement with Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, Womanism, Queer and Trans Studies, Post-Colonial Studies, Philosophy, Film Studies, Art History, and Poetry, creating an astrology practice that is steeped in rigor and tradition yet also artistic and politically radical.

David Osegueda, conocido en el ámbito creativo como Dosemil, es un diseñador y animador salvadoreño cuya práctica cruza los lenguajes del motion graphics, la animación artística y la poesía visual. Su trabajo se sitúa entre lo íntimo y lo político, explorando la emoción humana, la espiritualidad cotidiana y el poder del movimiento como lenguaje simbólico.
Formado como Técnico en Publicidad en la Escuela de Comunicación Mónica Herrera y con estudios en Animación Digital realizados en Costa Rica, Dosemil ha cultivado una carrera que mezcla lo técnico y lo filosófico. Su enfoque autodidacta y multidisciplinar lo ha llevado a trabajar tanto en la industria del diseño comercial como en la creación de piezas animadas para marcas y estudios internacionales, así como en el circuito del arte contemporáneo.
A través de su alias Dosemil, David explora el movimiento como fenómeno existencial y narrativo. Sus obras a menudo utilizan texto proyectado, estética glitch, filosofía visual y técnicas mixtas para generar atmósferas cargadas de simbolismo emocional. David Osegueda, known in the creative scene as Dosemil, is a Salvadoran designer and animator whose practice intersects the languages of motion graphics, animation, and visual poetry. His work straddles the intimate and the political, exploring human emotion, everyday spirituality, and the power of movement as a symbolic language.
Trained as an Advertising Technician at the Mónica Herrera School of Communication and with studies in Digital Animation in Costa Rica, Dosemil has cultivated a career that blends technical and philosophical aspects. His self-taught and multidisciplinary approach has enabled him to work in both the commercial design industry and the creation of animated pieces for international brands and studios, as well as in the contemporary art scene.
Through his alias Dosemil, David explores movement as an existential and narrative phenomenon. His works often utilize projected text, glitch aesthetics, visual philosophy, and mixed media to generate atmospheres charged with emotional symbolism.
